This motion element was on the Cameron Graphix home page for several months while my site was in development. It served to highlight my logo and create interest in my company as well as create a branded image. Splash pages in the traditional sense are falling out of favor in the design community since users are increasingly more impatient and waiting even the 3 to 5 seconds for a Flash splash page to play is an unwanted wait. Adding a skip button is an industry standard and will be implemented should your company wish to use this type of effect on your web site.
